This last PDCC was very productive for me. I got several compositions that I think are quite good. This one way day three of the challenge. I built most of the crystal ball from scratch, using a combination of layers, lighting and blend modes. I did use an overlay vector water drop drawing from Pixabay as a top layer — it gave the whore thing a look of depth and darkening that we might see on the real thing. I used a portion of the background fall woods image (Pixabay) upside down and spherically distorted as a reflection behind the glass ball. The hand is from AdobeStock. I used a color look-up adjustment layer on top of everything to unify the color temperature.
This image is the best of the nine, in my opinion, although some of the haunted house images got more like and comments. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.
Take care and stay well.
